UNDERSTANDING VISION THERAPY WITH DR. NADIRA SHADEED
The Pediatric Vision Development Center of Gwinnett was founded as an opportunity to help children who suffer from learning- related vision problems that may affect their performance in school and other daily activites.
Dr. Shadeed is passionate about her profession and cares about her patients. She is a member of College of Optometrist in Vision Development and has received her fellowship degree (FCOVD) in vision therapy and vision development in order to have the highest skill and knowledge for treating her patients. Along with her professional skills, Dr. Shadeed excels at working with kids and takes time to get to know each child in order to get their best performance during every session.
Not all Vision Therapy is performed the same. Dr. Shadeed performs in-depth testing for functional and developmental visual skills to determine how well the child's eyes work together and to evaluate their visual perceptual skills. In-office vision therapy is the primary treatment as improvements in a child's visual performance is Dr. Shadeed's primary goal.
Before deciding where to start a vision therapy program, we welcome you to call the office and set up a time to come in and meet Dr. Shadeed.
